Cloth Diapering Made Easy!

Care Instructions

Fasten hook tabs to laundry tabs on slot cover. Pre-wash cold. Wash hot (100F/40C) with a cloth diaper safe detergent. Extra rinse. No laundry additives. Line dry cover. Tumble dry insert. No fabric softeners. Use 1/4 cup or 60 mL bleach in the hot wash once per month.

Shake solids into toilet and store in dry pail
Remove insert before washing
Fasten tabs to laundry tabs on inside of diaper.
Wash once in cold water with no more than 1/4 (high efficiency machines) to 1/2 (top loading, regular machines) of the additive free detergent's recommended amount per load.
Wash once in hot (up to 120 degrees) water with no more than 1/4 (high efficiency machines) to 1/2 (top loading, regular machines) of the additive free detergent's recommended amount per load.
Add an extra rinse to remove any lingering detergent in the diapers.
Tumble dry on the warm setting.
No fabric softeners.

The warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the products only. Proof of purchase is required. To make a warranty claim, product must be sent at customer's expense to their distributor (Cotton Babies is the U.S. distributor for bumGenius) for examination of workmanship and materials. Diapers must arrive unstained, clean, stink-free and dry. After reviewing your diapers, we may replace the diaper or provide you with simple instructions for resolving the problem you are having. Except when caused by manufacturing or component defect, this guarantee does not cover leaking, diaper odor or normal wear/tear.

Warranty is void when:

The washing instructions have not been followed.
The diaper has been altered.
Any of the following has been used in conjunction with the use/care of the product:

Water temperatures exceeding 150F or 60C
A detergent containing additives (enzymes, brighteners, whiteners, dyes, perfumes, essential oils) or natural soap
Fabric softeners
Any caustic substance
Diaper rash cream

Accessible, easily replaceable elastic. All elastic tack-points are visible from the inside of the diaper. To replace elastic, turn the diaper inside out, thread new elastic through the casing and stitch it down at each end.

Confused about which type of closure to choose? H/L (hook/loop i.e. generic for Velcro) or Snap Closure:

H/L PRO: Hook/Loop makes it easier for caretakers and standing-up diaper changes. It is also more flexible for getting the exact fit and tends to fit bigger babies longer. Most similar to a disposable.

H/L CON: Hook/Loop can stick to everything in laundry if the fold-back tabs are not used, can wear out, can sometimes irritate Buddha-Belly Babies in the beginning, and when child learns to take his diaper off...diapers sometimes end up on the floor! Put pants on to thwart this, or use Snap Closures.

i onl have 6 in my stash but they are my favorite. Thanks to these diapers using cloth at night is a breeze. I use them for my 4 month old and 2yr old son and they fit both of them perfectly. My older son is an extremely heavy wetter and while using disposable diapers we had leaks almost ever night. Now that I have these both my boys are dry after almost 11 hours of sleep. I use the toddler pad and fit it down to size and then I put a hemp soaker in there too. I can't express how amazing and easy to clean they are.

We love the BumGenius 4.0. Our stash is made up of the 4.0's and I am glad. We use them day, night and on the go. Using cloth on the go is not as hard as you would think. Our little one is only 4 months now so mabybe that will change but I think its do-able. We double up the liner and it lasts through the night...our little guy is now sleeping most of the night and this diaper hold it all in. We hardly ever have a spill and if we do sometimes its user error not the product.

I've just received my second set of a Dozen BumGenius diapers! I'm so in love with them! They were all ripped apart and in the washer all within being in the house from UPS within 10 minutes! Ha! I can't wait to exclusively use them instead of disposables! Angela was friendly, funny and so easy to deal with! I will not hesitate to use this website again!

I recently purchased a sale pack of the BG diapers. Baby has not been born yet so I can't comment on the diapers themselves however I would like to say KUDOS to Bumrite for their service!! It was stellar! I had difficulty using multiple payment methods on the website so I called and left a message about the issue. I was stunned when the call was returned later that evening (after hours) and the order was processed over the phone (while she was at the airport)!!
I find myself consistently disappointed with customer service these days however I was pleasantly surprised by the effort that was put forth and the efficiency that my order was processed in. Thank you BR and I will definitely be utilizing your services again soon!
