We got the new trainers for our 3 yo who was PT resistant and taking forever to PT. At first he thought they were his baby brother's dipes b/c we cloth diaper him, so it took some convincing to get him to wear them. After they were on he seemed very comfortable and didn't complain. They absorb ok, but do leak a little if it's a larger pee accident. They def. help with #2 b/c the cloth insert dries it out and it makes things easier to clean off into the potty. The only complaint we had was that our child was a little snug at the hips with these...so they aren't as easy for him to pull up/down alone; we had to help. He's 48lbs though, so he's on the larger side. These trainers did get him to start using the potty b/c he could feel the wetness and didn't like it - as oppossed to huggies pull-ups that hide the sensation. He was PT with #1 in less that 2 weeks with these. Now we just use them for going out in case he has #2 accident; still not PT on those yet.
